We went to bed expecting a rain/snow mix this morning with highs in the 40's. We woke up to 3+ inches of snow on the ground and no school - go figure!

Great Company
Hannah had her first experience with strep throat last week. She was one sick little girl, but Petey took great care of her. In her own words, "I a lot better now!"

SNOW
We woke up to a nice dusting of snow on the ground. Both kids were excited to see the snow. I couldn't get Hunter to come back inside to defrost and I couldn't get Hannah to go outside to experience the snow. Finally, she put on her warm clothes and ventured out for a few moments of forced fun. We spent the rest of the day staying warm inside. The high for tomorrow is 16!
What am I supposed to do here?

One Very Special Day
We let Hunter choose exactly what he wanted to do on his very big day. His choice was a pretzel and cream cheese at the mall followed by a train ride, and concluded with a carousel ride. We all enjoyed Hunter's big outing!
Birthday Fun
We celebrated Hunter's birthday with cousins a few days early. What a delight to be able to celebrate with family!
