Hunter's Class Field Trip

Hunter's class visited the zoo and one very excited little sister was allowed to tag along. While at the zoo, Hunter and classmates had an assignment to finish. Hunter took that so seriously. He was incredibly focused on finishing his work. Now, if I can only get him to continue with that enthusiasm in years ahead!

Fall Soccer

Hunter has endless energy. I find myself needing to channel his energy in positive ways. Luckily, he loves sports. He tried soccer in the spring, but the flood ended the season early. So, we tried again this fall. He thoroughly enjoyed his season, but he was a little disappointed in his team's record. Even though they didn't really keep score, Hunter did. He knew who scored the most goals, and his team rarely did that. We are trying to teach the old 'winning isn't everything' mentality, but that's a tough sell! The boy wants to win.
He gets it honestly!
