Christmas at the Farm

We went to Missouri in November to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. The kids had a ball but the weather was much cooler than our last visit. Thanks for such a great visit Grandma and Grandpa. We love you!

Sweet Friends

We have the sweetest neighborhood! There are 29 kids and counting on our block alone. I love the memories my kids are making - we are blessed!

Getting in the Spirit!

For the last two years, the kids have each packed shoe boxes to send to a child in their age range. In the past I let them pick a few things and I added others. This year, I told them the "must have" items, let them pick those and anything else they wanted to send. Watching them shop was one of the sweetest experiences of my life. They were very particular about what they wanted in their boxes. Hunter even told the cashier that the toys were not his but for another little boy who might not have much for Christmas - so sweet!

Community Yard Work

For some strange reason, the neighborhood kids collected brooms and started sweeping leaves.

Deer Season

It's deer season once again. Pete has hunted several times and this poor deer was his first of the season. Hunter didn't go hunt, but couldn't wait to see what Dad killed. There's just something wrong with that in my book, but it keeps the peace.
