The Best Gift of All

The children practiced for months at school to prepare for the Christmas program. Both kids were excited to go to school at night to sing. Hannah loved every minute of the program. She had us in stitches the entire time. She would sing with everything in her, realize that she was in front of lots of people, stop, think, return to singing, and repeat the process. Hunter did well too. He only yawned three or four times. He said the people next to him were too close so he couldn't do his motions. They were precious!! (Hunter is on the top row and Hannah is in the cream dress on the bottom row.)

Sleigh Ride and Santa

The housing management company sponsored sleigh rides through base housing one night in December followed by cookies with Santa. We rode the sleigh with our wonderful neighbors. Hunter is sitting by Eleanor. Hannah was next to me but wanted nothing to do with a picture or Santa!

Elves Who Decorate

In Hunter's own words, "Don't worry Mom! I'll find the perfect place for each one." I love that guy!

The Great Christmas Tree Hunt

This year, much to Pete's dismay, we decided to cut down our tree at a local tree farm. We loaded up in the truck and headed off to find the perfect tree for us. The hardest part was getting everyone to agree on one! Finally we found our tree; daddy heroically cut it down, pulled it out of the forest, and loaded it in the truck. Now all we needed to do was decorate.

"Not this one!" says Hannah

Grumpy

We agreed on one:)

It's going home with us!
